For Fallout: New Vegas! I was a bit apprehensive at first (no continuation to your own, personalised character from Fallout 3), but recently, I'm actually so excited!
Go watch a video or something for it, you don';t expect me to have an unbiased opinion of anything Fallout, do you?

On GTA: TBoGT, drink a shot or two in Maisonette, play the champagne game in the VIP room, then drink as much as you can at the bar. It is EPIC!!!

hint: when you wake up, you can't get out of the fountain until you're sober.

Connection Problems

There is a variety of internet devices in the house, any number of which are unused and could go wrong, and my Playstation decides that it's going to be the one to have a serious falling out with the router.

And I'm having trouble getting both PS3s to play online at the same time. Unless connecting to the same server (eg, together like we do on BFBC2 or MW2) one or the other lags like hell.
It's really annoying!

I might write about video games....

But I am NEVER going to write anything positive about the Xbox.

The End...was a scary sniper from MGS3

We watched 3 different video game endings today and no, I wasn't playing Heavy Rain. (Andrew got our copy the day I got my playstation, boo!) We all completed a respective game: me, CoD MW1 (You know the plane bit at the end of the credits? Thats been featured heavily in my dreams and nightmares since the game came out and I watched it being played, I recently was asking what that scene was from -we thought it was a game like Quantum of Solace or something. I totally forgot it was CoD! So all my scary dreams are probably from too many shooting games, haha.)
Anyways, I completed Mw1 to no trophies, S did Dead Space (yay!) and earned his platinum (jealous...) and Ally did GTA The Lost and the Damned, which I haven't even started yet! I couldn't wrestle it off those two and we've yet to get 2 copies of every game.

Oh, I nearly forgot

My TV arrived a while back and that would be why I haven't posted in ages!

Although it is nearly 10" shorter than the other one in here, I prefer it and Stuart has been pissing about with his TV trying to get the colours to look similar - I think he's a bit jealous (just to clarify, he bought it anyways and i am eternally grateful, haha). Rather than be all cautious with the settings like the boys, I just fired right in there with the remote. Photoshop and Sims have maybe made me really good with sliders? I also really like the position it's in in the room. I had been complaining because years of Karate has trained my peripheral vision, and a large percent of Stuarts TV is visible in the corners of my eyes, but this TV is tucked in the corner and I can only see the other one if I want to (for example, in a Party on MW2). I'll maybe throw some pictures up here sometime.
I've now got a station for my Laptop and Wacom, too, not to mention somewhere for my Ps2 to go when I want to crack out some old GTA or MGS!!

Sadder points of today

Ally learned how to make the exact noise a computer makes in BIOS on Bebot on the iPhone and keeps making me panic because my laptop has learned a new trick (blue screen) and I can't be bothered fixing it because it needs cleaned up and formatted anyway. I fill the poor thing so full of chubbish!

And the worst of all, the ROOR broke. Like, terminally broke! Oh noes!

New playstation3!

I got a playstation3 slim 250gb today to compliment the original Ps3 already gracing our living room. Well, to give me some more gaming time, at least. Only problem is that the new TV was meant to be delivered and they can't until Tuesday because of - get this on Britain sunniest day this year - bad weather.
I feel rather special and quite decadent for having two flatscreens (40" and 32") and two ps3's in the one room but needs must!
We're aiming on a third now, haha!
